Turkish Airlines (THY) adopted a comprehensive digital transformation strategy to strengthen its leading position in the aviation industry and manage data-driven decision-making processes more effectively.

Turkish Airlines used Teradata 2850 DWH Platform as the Main Data Warehouse System by Analytic Solutions teams. THY identified modernization needs in order to consolidate its operational excellence and meet its projected high volume workload in line with its strategic growth objectives. With the modernization project, the Teradata IFX 2.5 system was positioned, which will provide high performance needs, increased data volume, high accessibility and high performance in all workloads in line with Turkish Airlines' medium-long term expectations.

Thanks to the Teradata Enterprise Edition portable software license, an infrastructure has been made available so that THY can easily migrate to the hyperscale cloud platforms it will choose in the future without incurring additional software costs and without the need for additional code changes.
