Migros, which prefers Teradata for data warehouse technologies in Turkey, has been working with Teradata for more than 25 years. In addition to the Master Data Warehouse System, Migros has been using the Teradata Intellibase DWH Platform, to which Teradata CIM (Customer Interaction Manager) and Teradata TVA (Teradata Value Analyzer) applications are connected, since April 2018.

In line with its strategic growth targets, Migros determined its modernization needs with a proactive approach in order to meet the workload that is expected to increase significantly in the near future. The current Teradata IB-IntelliBase Appliance system was modernized with the new generation Teradata Intelliflex 2.5 platform, which is more powerful and high capacity.

By running CIM and TVA applications on the modernized Teradata Appliance system, it was aimed to meet critical business needs in customer analytics and financial profitability.‍

It was a critical need to manage the increase in workload and data volume accurately without interrupting business processes.
